ABOUT US
Kshitizz “Horizon” is an NGO, formed by the students of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. Our team consists of Law students and students from other streams from different institutions. It was created out of ambition and curiosity among the Students to change the world.
Kshitizz is India based Not-for-profit & Non-political Organisation. The motto is to bring change in the lives of Underprivileged Children, Youth, Old Age & Women and to promote Empowerment, Creativity, Innovation, Peace, Harmony and 17 sustainable development goals of UN. The foundation of Kshitizz was laid down by Ujjwal Ashutosh and was strongly supported by his friends and faculties of Damodaram Sanjivyya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. Though there were works carried out in Saharsa but later the society was registered with its head office in Bihar and operates all over India under Societies Registration Act, 1860.
MISSION AND VISION
Change is expensive than Gold and that is what we at Kshitizz are striving to advocate. We are trying not only to build community leaders but also a society which is progressive, Self-sustained and enlightened. Adhering to multi-dimensional approach which deals with the improvisation and getting Public-education and Public-health back on track. The problem is not scarcity of funds but inaction and dull actions of Public incorporations and irresponsible individual behaviours. Through various programs such as- Educating the under privileged about their rights, Imparting Knowledge about Basic hygiene and Filing RTIs and through research suggest and compel the government to ameliorate infrastructure, Hospitals, educational institutions. We are trying to endeavour towards a utopian society.
