Another important initiative taken by our team is the implantation of food and water pots for birds and animals. The Andhra Pradesh Govt. has declared 9 districts as drought-prone areas. This affects the lives of the birds and animals. In order to deal with this situation, we have installed a few pots which are regularly with water and some containers which are filled with grains. This is an initiative to provide for food and water to the birds and animals.
We have also installed earthen containers where birds can serve as a nesting ground for birds.
In addition to this, we had taken up an initiative to protect the puppies in our University from a communicable skin disease. We got medicines for them and applied onto their skin for a few days to see a visible difference in their health and all of them are in full health now.
