Hunger is one of the major issues in India. According to Global Hunger Index, India stands at 102nd rank among 117 countries which are reflective of the levels of poverty in India. Though there are various schemes for the removal of hunger, no clear results have been noticed yet. Therefore, we took the initiative of providing a day’s meal to the children of the slums on the birthday of any of our team members, instead of throwing a party to our friends.
